Ngaksam Rinpoche III.
The first Ngawang Samten (Ngaksam) Rinpoche was a nephew of the first Tsangyang Gyamtso and a highly accomplished master.
Ngaksam Rinpoche II was integral in re-establishing Gebchak Gonpa after the Cultural Revolution in the 1980’s. He sponsored reconstruction of the main temple and ensured that Gebchak’s practice tradition was purely and thoroughly restored.
The current Ngaksam Rinpoche is the third reincarnation.
